Testimonials

Kylan has been transforming my skin for several years now.  She is masterful at what she does. Totally respectful and non invasive.  I have recently started having massages with her and can't believe I waited this long to try her out, she is amazing.  I recomend her highly.

I've been referring my patients to Kylan for several years, because she's the best therapeutic massage therapist I know.  Every patient I've sent to her has had nothing but praise for her.  Many have actually commented on how special and unique her treatments have been.  I also know how talented she is from my own personal experience, as she's my massage therapist, too!

My occupation is a Dental Hygienist.  Five and half years ago my husband had introduced me to Kylan Skinner, I had injured my neck and shoulders relating to my occupation.  Initally I started out with mandatory physical therapy and massage 2 to 3 times a week with pain medication and muscle relaxers.  I dwindled my therapy down to massage only once every two weeks with the use of Ibuprofin.  Today no pain medication is necessary, just keep up on my selective stretches Kylan has given me and occasional localized instructions.

I have since then continued the once every two weeks routine and consider it a necessity to continue my employment in this occupation.  In my eyes, Kylan was the instrument that made me well and the physical therapist was an adjunct to that initial treatment.

In the past I have seen many massage therapists, Kylan Skinner is the best and REALLY KNOWS HER STUFF!

My advice to any, do exactily what Kylan says and she will make you better.

"October 2003 I was in a car accident that left me with minor soft tissue injury. Since doctors could not figure out what was going on with my soft tissue injury, my injury developed into Myofascial pain and several Trigger points from head to toe. After three years of seeing several doctors (some including specialists), physical therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors and acupunturists, I finally saw Kylan."

"After seeing so many other people for three years with little improvement with my health, I welcomed Kylan's approach to my injury. With her having a strong background of different massage techniques and understanding the body so well she came up with a treatment that was specifically for my injury. In fact, over the passed two years she has taken more classes to help my injury. While she was attending these classes she would talk to instructors about my situation to get additional advice or just to make sure she was going about my injury correctly. Additionally, she was recognized when I needed to see someone else (such as an Osteopath) to go along with her treatment to help the healing process."

"Kylan is not just a massage therapist, but she is someone who truly cares that her clients get better; physically and emotionally. After being an athletic person all my life and all of a sudden not being able to do anything physical was truly hard on me mentally. Kylan was able to help me see the bright side of things so I could start healing emtionally from the injury. I am thankful everyday to have found Kylan to help me heal physically and emotionally."

I am a 59-year-old marathon runner and iron-distance triathlete.  I have been a client of Kylan Skinner since 2002.  I see her about ten times a year for sports massages.  I have been very happy with her skills and services.  She has helped me maintain an active lifestyle, and also helped me recover from an injured Ileopsoas muscle and a badly fractured Humerus.  I am constantly amazed at her ability to detect various issues with my body, even issues that I was aware of, but neglected to tell her about. I have recommended her to several friends and acquaintances, and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Sincerely,

Jim Kondek

Kylan is a lifesaver. Approximately seven years ago, I began having problems eating, seeing clearly, and breathing. It felt as though a dull aching pain was creeping up my back and intermittently strangling me. I couldn't sleep correctly, my weight began to fluctuate all over the place and it was extremely difficult to focus at work. I went to multiple doctors, all of which diagnosed my problems with a plethora of rationales from indegestion to panic attacks. For the next year I followed their directions taking whatever medications were prescribed, performing whatever tests they needed (including, but not limited to MRIs and Upper IGs), but nothing seemed to identify the issue or alleviate the symptoms. Finally, a friend recommended that I meet Kylan. At that point in time I was staunchly opposed to alternative medicine and massage being a serious form of physical therapy, but I was running out of options. I was clearly wrong! From the moment I walked into her office and ever since, Kylan has been nothing short of understanding, kind, and professional. Our first meeting, she immediately recognized muscular issues which could be the causes of so many of my problems. Within a few sessions I was able to gain back portions of control in my life that I thought I had lost forever. Kylan's expertise in her field and clear knowledge gives her the ability to not only understand what is going on with you, but also relay that information so it is understandable to the layperson, which, when you have no idea what is going on with you is a guiding light away from a very dark and unfamiliar place. Massage Therapy is no easy task. There will be pain, it will take time (possibly years) to correct major problems and it will take commitment to show up and do the work to get better, but with Kylan at the helm, you will be in great hands.
